Downloading a RefSeq dataset file
To download a copy of the current RefSeq data file go to the Table Browser and select the following options
- The 'Human' option from the genome list. and the desired build from the assembly list.
- The required genome build from the assembly list.
- The 'Genes and Gene Predictions Tracks' option from the group list
- The 'RefSeq Genes' option from the Track list
- The 'genome' option from the list of region radio buttons'
- The 'refGene' option from the table list
- Enter the name of exported file in the Output file: text box.
- Finally press the button to download the file.
When each option is selected you may have to wait a few seconds for the web page to be updated to show the relevant options.
